Ledger is a game. You make predictions about real-world sporting and cultural events using a virtual currency called Stake, and you build a personal record measured in Standing. Ledger is for entertainment only. It is not gambling, not a betting or wagering service, and not a game of chance played for money. No real money is ever involved. You cannot deposit money, you cannot win money or any prize of monetary value, and nothing in Ledger can be cashed out or withdrawn.
You must be at least 18 years old, or older if the age of majority where you live is higher, to use Ledger. By using Ledger, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Ledger is intended for personal, non-commercial use. You may hold only one account, and the information you provide must be accurate.
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. If you believe your account has been used without your permission, contact us promptly at [contact email]. We are not responsible for losses caused by someone else using your account.
Stake and Standing are virtual items that exist only inside Ledger. They have no monetary value. They cannot be purchased, sold, traded, transferred, gifted, redeemed, or exchanged for money or for anything of value, whether inside or outside of Ledger. They are not your property and grant no ownership rights. They are part of the game, and we may adjust, reset, expire, or remove virtual balances, for example to correct errors, to balance the game, or as part of normal updates.
Markets in Ledger are based on real-world events. We settle each market based on the outcome of the underlying event, and our determination of an outcome is final. We may add, change, suspend, postpone, or void any market, for instance if an event is cancelled, rescheduled, or its result is disputed or unclear. Ledger does not provide betting advice, odds, or predictions that you should rely on for any real-world decision.

Ledger is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with any sports league, team, athlete, broadcaster, organization, television program, or other entity referenced within it. All team names, league names, event names, and other trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe the real-world events that Ledger’s markets are about.
Ledger, including its name, design, text, graphics, logos, and software, belongs to Martori or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use Ledger for its intended purpose. You may not use our branding or content for anything else without our written permission.
Ledger is designed to evolve. We may add, change, or remove features, markets, sports, and other parts of the Service at any time, and we may discontinue Ledger entirely. We will try to communicate significant changes, but we are not obligated to.
Ledger is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that Ledger will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that market outcomes will always be settled without error. You use Ledger at your own discretion.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Martori and the people who work on Ledger will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of or inability to use Ledger. Because Ledger involves no real money and nothing of monetary value, you acknowledge that you bear no financial risk in using it.
We may suspend or terminate your account or access to Ledger at any time, including if you violate these Terms. You may stop using Ledger and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us. Some provisions of these Terms, by their nature, survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. If the changes are significant, we will make a reasonable effort to let you know. By continuing to use Ledger after an update takes effect, you accept the revised Terms.
